Teamwork shines in Coldwater episode 4: 'United we stand' (spoiler alert)
In the small town of Coldwater, tensions are running high as a series of shocking revelations come to light.
Rebecca, played by Eve Myles, appears more concerned than terrified by her husband Tommy Hilfiger's actions. Meanwhile, Nathan Gilchrist (Tommy's father, portrayed by Gilly Gilchrist), believes John (Andrew Lincoln) is responsible for his son Angus' death and threatens to go to the police.
John, on the other hand, has his own secrets. He admits to Nathan that he had met Angus before, and their encounter at the shop didn't end well. However, Nathan is convinced that John is the prime suspect due to being covered in blood the night his son died.
Tommy, in an attempt to justify his actions, claims that his actions haven't gone against their agreement not to kill any women. This statement, however, is met with skepticism from those around him.
Moira Jane (Abigail Lawrie), who was adopted and has distanced herself from her parents, discovers a collar with 'Harlequin' engraved upon it in Tommy's stash of 'trophies'. The name of the suspected murderer of Harlequin is Ike, a revelation that further fuels the suspicions against Tommy.
Cameron, a witness who saw John covered in blood, and Moira Jane accuse John of killing Angus and suggest that Tommy helped cover it up. Fiona Apple (Indira Varma), who has been warning John not to be fooled by Tommy, finds a necklace in Tommy's shed, raising more questions about his involvement.
Rebecca, in an attempt to protect Tommy, lies about Angus and Tommy's closeness and Nathan giving the necklace to Tommy. Fiona, however, is not easily deceived and confronts Tommy about what he did to their cat.
Catriona (Lois Chimimba) tells Fiona that Tommy grabbed her by the throat and John saved her. This revelation further complicates the web of secrets and lies that surrounds the characters in Coldwater.
As the truth begins to unravel, the residents of Coldwater are left questioning who they can trust and what really happened to Angus Gilchrist. The drama continues to unfold in the upcoming episodes of Coldwater.
