The team's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, isn't mincing words. He's issued a stark warning ahead of the next group game on Saturday against Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa.

Kehl's message was clear as day in Fort Lauderdale during BVB's training camp with Inter Miami. After returning from New Jersey, Kehl had a frank talk with the players, stressing the urgent need for improvement. "We ain't impressed with that draw," Kehl says, "We gotta step it up in Cincinnati."

Kehl's not scared to lay it all on the line. "This ain't about some friendly game," he growls, "It's the Club World Cup, baby! We gotta perform, or we'll be out."

Despite the poor performance against Fluminense, BVB coach Niko Kovac remains hopeful about advancing to the knockout stage with a win against Mamelodi Sundowns, followed by another victory against HD Ulsan from South Korea. Kehl acknowledges the importance of the point earned, "That point was crucial, man. If we wanna do some damage in this tournament, we gotta keep stacking them up."
