In a broader strategy by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to accelerate the growth of cricket, four IPL franchise owners have signed deals to become strategic partners with teams in The Hundred 2025. The RPSG Group, owners of Lucknow Super Giants, hold a 70% stake in the Manchester Originals. Sun TV Network Limited, owners of Sunrisers Hyderabad, have 100% ownership of the Northern Superchargers. The GMR Group, owners of Delhi Capitals, and Reliance Group, owners of Mumbai Indians, have also acquired stakes in The Hundred teams, with Reliance Group set to complete a formal deal for a stake in the Oval Invincibles at a later date.
