Taylor Swift's New Album "The Life of a Showgirl" to be Released on October 3
Taylor Swift's 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," is set to be released on October 3, 2025. The album, produced by Max Martin, Shellback, and Swift herself, features 12 tracks, including the title song “The Life of a Showgirl (feat. Sabrina Carpenter),” along with other songs such as “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Elizabeth Taylor,” and “Opalite.”
The album cover art, revealed on the New Heights podcast, portrays a thematic, stylized image related to the album's mood. Each version of the deluxe CD variants features unique artwork and photo cards, with a limited-edition vinyl variant titled "The Shiny Bug" also available for preorder.
Swift worked on the album while touring in Sweden on the Eras Tour. The song titles are revealing, with choices like "Father Figure," "Eldest Daughter," "Ruin The Friendship," and "Actually Romantic." Swift clarified that there will be no additional songs on the album.
The producers Max Martin and Shellback also worked on the playlist And, baby, that's show business for you ❤️🔥, marking this as the first album where Swift is working solely with both of them.
Fans can look forward to the album's release on October 3, as Swift has stated that the album is about what was going on behind the scenes in her inner life during the Eras Tour. Each version of the deluxe CD variants will also include a unique collectible charm bracelet.
