Taylor Swift's movie "The Life Of A Showgirl" set for theater release officially announced
Taylor Swift fans, get ready for an exciting event! The pop sensation is set to release her 12th studio album, titled The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3, and she's planning a series of release parties in theaters across the United States.
The release party event will be a special experience, lasting for 89 minutes, in reference to Taylor Swift's birth year, 1989. The first screening of the event will serve as the world premiere of Taylor Swift's new music video, "The Fate of Ophelia".
The event will take place in theaters nationwide from October 3 to October 5. Fans can expect an immersive experience, with lyric videos included, behind-the-scenes footage of the music video creation, and personal reflections from Taylor Swift about the remaining songs on the album.
Additional screenings will be hosted at Cinemark and Regal theaters on September 25 and 26, 2025. Tickets for these screenings, as well as for the release party screenings, are on sale now and can be purchased at AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters.
The cost of the release party event is $12, in reference to Taylor Swift's 12th album. Fans are encouraged to dress up, trade friendship bracelets, dance, and sing along during the show.
Interestingly, the release party event is similar to Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" concert film. However, unlike traditional cinema screenings, the release party event will start promptly at its designated time, without any ads or trailers beforehand.
Fans can express which track they're claiming in the comments below. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to be a part of Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl release party!
Tickets for AMC locations can be found at the theater's website, and listings for all local screenings can be found online. The music video premiere will take place at 12 PM PT/3 PM ET. Prepare for a night to remember!
