Taylor Swift's fans can now immerse themselves in her career like never before, as her very own radio station, Taylor's Channel 13, launches on SiriusXM on September 20. The station will play Swift's music 24/7 for 13 days, culminating in the full broadcast of her upcoming album 'The Life of a Showgirl' on October 3 at 6 AM ET.
SiriusXM, which has supported Swift since 2007 and has witnessed her rise to pop culture icon status, will make the new album available in vehicles across North America on channel 13, as well as via the SiriusXM app. The station will also be accessible worldwide via the SiriusXM app and internet-connected devices.
Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer of SiriusXM, expressed his excitement about the new channel, stating that Swift's music connects people across generations. He further emphasised that the programming on Taylor's Channel 13 will give fans the opportunity to immerse themselves in Swift's career, with songs from two decades, including Grammy-winning albums, and highlights from the Eras Tour, archival tracks, and live performances.
The 13-day countdown for 'The Life of a Showgirl' on Taylor's Channel 13 begins on September 21. On the day of the album's release, October 3, the first album played in full on the station will be '1989 (Taylor's Version)'.
