Illuminate Your Rescue Missions with Tatütata Stretchers

Hamburg - Shining a Light on Emergency Rescues!

Embrace the future of emergency care with Tatütata stretchers, recently introduced by the "Johanniter" rescuers in Hamburg. These state-of-the-art devices boast a striking blue LED light, ensuring you'll never lose sight of your mission, even in the dimmest conditions.

Shedding some light on it

This high-tech piece of equipment is more than just a pretty light show. It equips rescuers with an electric motor that slide, easing the burden on their backs. Takeshi Hase, Head of Rescue Services at "Johanniter", discusses their benefits: "The primary objective of this stretcher is to alleviate stress on our personnel. Its electric motor enables smooth movement, thereby saving energy and minimizing backaches."

LED's multifaceted brilliance

The blue light isn't just a dazzling spectacle. It serves as a safety beacon at the accident site, making the area more visible. Additionally, the LED lights can illuminate the surroundings, providing a smarter and safer transport experience. Patients up to 320 kg can be transported on these flexible stretchers. Not only that, the LED strip lights up green when you've reached the loading height, ensuring safe operations, while a red light warns against overloading or tipping over.

Putting Tatütata stretchers to the test

Already, four of the "Johanniter"'s eight ambulances in Hamburg are boasting these stretchers. During a safety test, the Fire Department was summoned to confirm procedures were followed effectively. The Johanniter paramedics utilized the blue light stretcher while transporting an injured patient, resulting in a safer and more noteworthy activity.

However, there was an incident involving an ambulance with a Tatütata stretcher colliding with a police vehicle, mistakenly assuming the blue light for a police vehicle. This underlines the importance of proper 'blue light' protocols to avoid such incidents.

The Fire Department and Police have praised the new Tatütata stretchers, citing their blue light and LED strip features, for significantly enhancing effective rescue operations and safety procedures.
