Taking the baton from her fellow actor Dagmar Manzel, who's been part of the team since 2015 as Commissioner Paula Ringelhahn and bid adieu in a critically acclaimed farewell episode last fall, Thomass steps in as a fitting successor, showcasing a myriad of acting talents. Her debut role in the 2005 BR police thriller "110" - "He Should Die," helmed by film legend Dominik Graf, marked her breakthrough, netting her several promotional accolades. She shone yet brightly in Doris Dörrie's "Greetings from Fukushima," winning the Bavarian Film Award and being nominated for the German Film Award, and in Hans Steinbichler's "An Unheard Woman," earning the German Acting Award and the Grimme Award.
