Munich/Nuremberg (dpa) - Get ready for a fresh face in the Franconian "Tatort" crime series! Actress Rosalie Thomass, known for her captivating performances, will be joining the cast as Kriminalhauptkommissarin Emilia Rathgeber. Starting from July, she'll be teaming up with Fabian Hinrichs, who plays Kriminalhauptkommissar Felix Voss. The Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation (BR) confirmed the exciting news.
This new addition completes the investigative team of the Franconian "Tatort" following Dagmar Manzel's departure. Thomass shared her excitement about the new challenge, saying, "I'm thrilled about this new opportunity and can't wait to be a part of creating some truly exceptional films. Born and raised in Munich in 1987, Rosalie Thomass first gained fame in 2005 with her role in the "Polizeiruf 110" crime series "Er sollte tot," directed by Dominik Graf. She's also made appearances in Doris Dörrie's "Grüße aus Fukushima" and Hans Steinbichler's "Eine unerhörte Frau."
