"Tarzan" Swings Back to Hamburg
2025 brings back Tarzan and Jane's adventures to the jungle, right in the heart of Hamburg! Currently, the Stage Theater is showing "Hercules", but the lineup for the following year is set.
Starting autumn 2025, "Tarzan" will grace the Stage Theater Neue Flora for a year, as Stage Entertainment announced. It's a long-awaited return of the jungle tale after more than a decade. Ticket pre-sales are already underway on the organizer's website.
"Tarzan" tells the story of a waif raised by monkeys in the jungle until he encounters humans. Among them is Jane, whom he falls for, leading to a series of tough decisions for our protagonist.

Over 16 years ago, "Tarzan" made its German premiere in Hamburg, running from 2008 to 2013. It's currently still being performed in Stuttgart. The musical is said to have been seen by over five million people in Germany according to Stage Entertainment. The musical's tunes are courtesy of British musician Phil Collins. The most famous tune from the show is "You'll be in my heart", which won an Oscar.
