Tamil actor-comedian Robo Shankar succumbs to death at the age of 46; Kamal Haasan and Karthi express heartfelt tributes, lamenting profoundly.

Robo Shankar, a beloved Tamil film actor and comedian, passed away on Thursday at the age of 46. The incident occurred on Wednesday during a shoot, where he fainted on sets.

The news of his demise has plunged the Tamil film industry in grief. Many actors and directors have expressed their condolences and shock over his sudden departure.

Notable personalities such as Karthi, Venkat Prabhu, and Kamal Haasan have shared their feelings about the loss of the talented actor. Karthi stated that a great talent had gone too soon and expressed condolences to Robo Shankar's family and fans. Venkat Prabhu referred to him as his friend who is gone too soon.

Kamal Haasan paid tribute to Robo Shankar through a Tamil poem. The poem loosely translates to a conversation with Robo Shankar, considering him as his younger brother. Kamal Haasan wrote that Robo Shankar's departure doesn't mean he has left him, as his job remains unfinished.

Robo Shankar is best known for his performances in Dhanush-starrer Maari, Vishal's Irumbu Thirai, and Vishnu Vishal's 'Vellainu Vandhutta Vellaikaran'.

The unit members rushed the actor to a private hospital in Chennai where he was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit. However, the exact cause of Robo Shankar's death is not yet disclosed.

Robo Shankar's body will be taken from the hospital to his residence where people can pay their last respects on Friday. He is survived by his wife Priyanka and their only daughter, Indraja, who is an actress.

Indraja acted alongside actor Vijay in the blockbuster film Bigil. The industry and fans are hoping for strength for the family during this difficult time.
