Talent agency WME secures representation of Savannah Bananas' player Jackson Olson.

In the world of sports and entertainment, Jackson Olson, a 27-year-old infielder, is making waves. The New Milford, CT native, who played baseball for the University of Hartford and the Cape Cod Baseball League, has recently been signed by WME for representation in all areas.

Max Fleming, founder and CEO of Motive, manages Jackson Olson and is working closely with him to expand his influence. This includes brand partnerships, entrepreneurial ventures, media, and content creation.

Jackson Olson's digital presence is significant, with approximately 2 million followers on TikTok and 920,000 on Instagram. His TikTok videos, a significant part of his career, have caught the attention of many, including Bananas owner Jesse Cole.

The Savannah Bananas, a barnstorming exhibition team known for their unscripted game and comedy routines, have been a perfect fit for Olson. Under the leadership of Jesse Cole, the team is creating a unique and engaging sports experience that combines traditional baseball with modern entertainment elements.

A series of viral videos made by Jackson Olson initially attracted Cole's attention, leading to his hiring. Since then, Olson has played multiple seasons with the Bananas, initially joining for six games in 2022 for the summer series.

The growing attention paid to the Bananas indicates a shift in the focus towards more entertaining and unconventional forms of sports entertainment. This shift is evident in the television coverage the team has received, including from Disney's ESPN2 and ESPN+, Warner Bros. Discovery's TNT Sports, Roku, and Nexstar's CW Network.

Jackson Olson's antics for the Savannah Bananas are not only captivating fans but also gaining attention from industry figures. His decision to decline an offer to play for the Arizona Diamondbacks to complete his college education seems to have paid off.

The Bananas are part of Fans First Entertainment, a company owned by Jesse Cole. As Olson continues to grow his influence, WME aims to help him further expand his reach, making him a household name in the world of sports and entertainment.
