Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia Sign $6B in Deals at Joint Commission, Dushanbe Forum
Tajikistan's fifth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, and Cultural Affairs with Saudi Arabia concluded successfully, with two memorandums of understanding signed. Additionally, the forum saw the signing of four public-private partnership deals worth $8.9 million, further strengthening cooperation between the state and private sector.
The agreements signed span across key strategic sectors, with the energy sector leading the way with $2.4 billion in agreements. Nine industrial projects worth $386 million and communications contracts valued at $333.5 million were also concluded, demonstrating a broad scope of collaboration.
In a separate development, on the first day of the Dushanbe Invest-2025 International Investment Forum, Tajikistan signed 26 agreements worth a total of $3.12 billion. These agreements are expected to boost the country's economic growth and development.
