T1 Awards Honor Russia’s Top Innovators in Tech and Cybersecurity
Russia’s largest IT company, T1, has hosted its first-ever awards ceremony to celebrate technological innovation. The T1 Awards recognized leading projects in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure automation. Winners included major banks, energy firms, and industrial giants.
The event honored a wide range of initiatives, from cloud services and fintech to cybersecurity and automation. A jury of experts—drawn from the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Rosatom, RZD, and the Polytechnic Museum—assessed the entries. Public voting also played a role in selecting some winners.
Russian Railways (RZD) took home the award for Data Storage & Management. Severstal Infocom won in IT Process Automation, while RusHydro secured two prizes: the Digital Transformation category and the IT: From the Heart to Business award, chosen by public vote. VTB received a special Industry Impact Project award.
Among the winners were Alfa-Bank, Aeroflot, VimpelCom (Beeline), Demetra Holding, Russian Post, and Rosgosstrakh. T1 CEO Dmitry Kharitonov praised the participants for their ambition and contributions to Russia’s technological independence. The awards highlighted projects that strengthen the country’s digital sovereignty.
The T1 Awards showcased advancements across banking, energy, and transport sectors. Winning projects ranged from automation tools to large-scale digital platforms. Organizers stressed the importance of innovation in securing Russia’s future in technology.
