T-REX and Zama Partner to Bring Privacy to Blockchain Finance

T-REX Network has teamed up with Zama to bring stronger privacy to blockchain-based financial markets. The partnership will embed Zama's encryption technology into the T-REX Ledger, a Layer 2 blockchain designed for compliant digital securities. Together, they aim to tackle a key hurdle for institutions: keeping sensitive data confidential while using public blockchain infrastructure. The collaboration centres on integrating Zama's Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) protocol into the T-REX Ledger. This technology will serve as the default confidentiality layer, ensuring that financial transactions remain private even on a public ledger. Zama's co-founder and CEO, Dr. Rand Hindi, highlighted the company's ambition to become the go-to privacy solution for public blockchains.

The T-REX Ledger already supports $32 billion in tokenized assets under the ERC-3643 standard. By adding Zama's encryption, the platform seeks to attract more institutional players who need both transparency and data protection. Joachim Lebrun, co-founder of T-REX Network, explained that this integration allows institutions to operate fully onchain without exposing confidential information. Apex Group, a major financial services provider, has already committed to using the T-REX Ledger as its core infrastructure. The firm plans to tokenize $100 billion in assets through the platform by June 2027. The ledger itself acts as a neutral Layer 2 solution, offering compliance, interoperability, and now enhanced privacy for regulated markets.

The partnership between Zama and T-REX Network brings FHE-powered confidentiality to a blockchain infrastructure already handling billions in tokenized assets. Apex Group's adoption signals growing institutional trust in the technology. With privacy, compliance, and interoperability now built into the ledger, the solution aims to accelerate the shift toward onchain financial operations.
