Syracuse University reveals the scheduled date for a pre-season basketball match
Syracuse Men's Basketball Announces 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule
The Syracuse University men's basketball team has unveiled its non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season, which features a mix of home games, away matches, and a couple of exhibition contests.
The season will kick off on Monday, November 3, 2025, as Syracuse hosts Binghamton at the JMA Wireless Dome. This game will mark the season opener for both teams.
On October 25, Syracuse will travel to Buffalo's KeyBank Center to take on the University of Buffalo. The Orange will then return home to face Northeastern on December 20, with the exact time for both games yet to be determined.
Syracuse will also host Mercyhurst on December 17 and Hofstra on December 13, with the times for these games also to be announced. The team will play Monmouth at home on November 18, and the time for this game is yet to be determined as well.
Two exhibition games are scheduled for the Orange. On October 29, Syracuse will face Pace at the JMA Wireless Dome, marking the team's second and final exhibition of the season. The first exhibition game will be against Buffalo on October 25.
Orange assistant coach Peter Corasaniti confirmed the Buffalo game, also mentioning that Pace would be Syracuse's second exhibition opponent. Last time the teams met in an exhibition game in 2021, Syracuse emerged victorious with a score of 79-60. Cole Swider scored 21 points, and Buddy Boeheim contributed 19 points in that game.
Syracuse will face St. Joseph's in Las Vegas on November 22, and the time for this game is yet to be determined. The team will also participate in the Players Era Festival, playing Houston on November 24 at 6 p.m. and another game on November 26, with the opponent and time yet to be determined.
The schedule for Syracuse's non-conference games in the 2025-26 season is still incomplete, as a date for Binghamton has not been publicly announced. The times for most games are yet to be announced as well.
