Synthesizer group Magnetic Skies released their latest synthpop track, titled 'Back To Life', now available for listening
UK synthpop collective Magnetic Skies has made some exciting announcements for the latter half of 2025. The band, founded by Simon Kent and Jo Womar in 2019, has unveiled a new single titled "Back To Life" and a UK tour scheduled for November.
The tour, which kicks off on 5th November at The Victoria in Birmingham, will see Magnetic Skies perform in four cities across the UK. The Grace in London, Heartbreakers in Southampton, and The Hug & Pint in Glasgow are also on the list, with shows confirmed for the 6th, 12th, and 19th of November respectively.
"Back To Life" is a captivating blend of nostalgic synth textures and modern darkwave elements. According to vocalist Simon Kent, the song is about sensing chaos, feeling the void, and holding onto hope. It's a call to reconnect and bring something broken back into wholeness.
The production for Magnetic Skies' debut album "Empire Falling," released in late 2023, was largely handled in-house by Kent, with additional mixing by Rob Aubrey. The single "Back To Life" is now available on all major streaming platforms.
