Synthesized Sonic Compositions
Get ready to groove to the raw beats of Düsseldorf's thriving industrial music scene! Over a span of eight industrial sites, artists from different genres were inspired to craft 15 unique tracks for an upcoming release titled "Industrial". The pioneers of the revival include the legendary Jürgen Engler and Die Krupps, Pyrolator with Kurt Dahlke, and the late, great Tommi Stumpff from KFC.
Upon its release on October 27, these fresh tracks will be available for digital and vinyl purchase at your local record stores. To mark the occasion, live concerts are planned at the birthplaces of this gritty music genre, allowing tracks to be performed where they were conceived.
In addition, an exhibition by four photographers whose work chronicled the creative process will complement the excitement. This project, orchestrated by Sabine Fleischer, Carsten Siewert, and Marko Zaic, aims to breathe new life into this remarkable genre, which significantly stemmed from the Rhine region.
Partnering with Jürgen Engler, the founder of Die Krupps, has added a mastermind to the mix, someone who's deeply imbued in the genre and has left an indelible mark on artists like Peter Gabriel and Depeche Mode. As a nod to a passionate artist whose spirit never diminished, Tommi Stumpff's contribution to this project has been titled "Unstill."
Düsseldorf, known for its rich cultural and artistic tapestry, is the perfect breeding ground for a comeback like this. While details about the "Industrial" project are scarce, it's certainly a fascinating development in the music world, capturing the pioneering spirit of this raw and uncompromising genre, proudly hailing from the banks of the Rhine.
The upcoming release "Industrial" offers fans an opportunity to purchase digital and vinyl versions of these unique industrial music tracks. During the live concerts, attendees can experience the tracks being performed in the places where they were initially conceived, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the tour.
