After just two weeks: MBC parts ways with CEO - Syntainics MBC rocked by leadership exodus after coach and director depart

Syntainics MBC has faced a turbulent week with major changes in leadership. Head coach Marco Ramondino resigned after a string of defeats, while managing director Konstantin Krause left after only 13 days in the role. The club insists its decisions were necessary, despite growing concerns over its public image.

The upheaval began when veteran player John Bryant was released last week for disciplinary reasons. Shortly after, head coach Marco Ramondino stepped down following seven consecutive losses. His departure added pressure to an already unstable period for the club.

Konstantin Krause had been appointed managing director earlier this month, with outgoing manager Martin Geissler overseeing his transition until late February. However, Krause's tenure ended abruptly after just 13 days, with MBC refusing to disclose the reasons behind his exit. Geissler, who has led the club for nearly 25 years, still intends to step down, though the timing may now shift slightly.

With key positions vacant, MBC is actively searching for replacements. Geissler had been leading the effort to find a successor for Krause, but no new appointment has yet been announced. The club remains focused on stabilising its leadership and rebuilding its reputation.

The recent departures have left MBC in a transitional phase. The club is now assessing how to move forward while addressing internal challenges. Officials maintain that each decision, though difficult, was made with the team's long-term interests in mind.
