The 24th Zentralhessen-Notdienst-Symposium will take place in Stadtallendorf on February 6-7, 2026. Organised by multiple emergency service groups and local districts, the event aims to bring together around 600 professionals from across the region. Attendance is free for all participants.

The symposium is a joint effort by the Marburg-Biedenkopf, Gießen, and Vogelsberg districts, alongside Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, German Red Cross Emergency Services, and Malteser Emergency Services. Key supporters also include the Kreissparkasse Marburg-Biedenkopf and the DRK-Kreisverband Marburg-Biedenkopf.

Over two days, the programme will cover a wide range of topics. Friday’s sessions focus on hands-on workshops, while Saturday features expert-led lectures. Subjects will include the latest ERC Guidelines, gender-specific emergency care, tactical response strategies, and legal considerations in rescue operations. Beyond the formal sessions, attendees will have chances to network and share experiences. The event is open to emergency personnel from any district or organisation. Registration and further information are available at [https://www.drk-bildungszentrum.de/rd-symposium](https://www.drk-bildungszentrum.de/rd-symposium).

The symposium will provide updates on critical emergency care practices and foster collaboration among professionals. With no entry fee and a broad agenda, it offers accessible training and discussion for rescue workers. Organisers anticipate strong participation from across Central Hesse.
