In a remarkable turn of events, Paramount+ has announced the renewal of its most successful original series last year, "Tulsa King," for a fourth season. The news, reported by industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter, comes as anticipation builds for the third season, which premieres on September 21.

The third season promises to be action-packed as Sylvester Stallone's character, Dwight, faces a significant threat from the Dunmires, a powerful and wealthy family. Robert Patrick portrays the family patriarch, Jeremiah Dunmire, in the series.

To protect his growing empire, Dwight must navigate through this conflict, with the help of Samuel L. Jackson's character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., a friend of Dwight's from prison. Initially sent to Tulsa to eliminate Dwight, Jackson's character will appear as a guest in the third season.

In addition to Stallone, the third season will feature Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, and Garrett Hedlund. The fourth season, which was announced before the start of the third season, is expected to continue the story from where the third season leaves off.

Interestingly, Jackson's character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., will not be replaced in season four. Instead, his character will star in a spin-off series titled "NOLA King," set to begin filming in spring 2026.

So, get ready for another thrilling ride with "Tulsa King" as Dwight takes on the Dunmires in the third season, premiering on September 21 on Paramount+. And with the series' renewal for a fourth season, there's more excitement ahead for fans of this gritty crime drama.
