Syktyvkar Residents Split on Black Friday 2024: Who’s Buying and Who’s Skeptical?
A recent survey in Syktyvkar has revealed a mix of skepticism and enthusiasm among residents regarding Black Friday 2024 sales. While only 8% are ready to make purchases, young people under 35 and those with lower incomes show more confidence.
The survey found that women are slightly more likely to trust Black Friday deals than men (10% versus 6%). However, overall trust is low, with only 14% of residents believing prices will genuinely drop. The higher the respondents’ income, the less they trust these deals. Those earning under 100,000 rubles are more ready to shop (9%) compared to higher-income residents (7%).
Residents’ education levels also play a role. Those with vocational secondary education are more likely to believe in seasonal discounts than university graduates. Despite the skepticism, shoppers are prepared to spend an average of 15,500 rubles during Black Friday 2024.
