The favored courses for Yoshi (Kangaroo) are the second course of every cup for the duration of the Sydney Tour, while the favored courses for Cat Toad and Baby Mario (Koala) are the third course of every cup. The Pipe Buggy, Piston Glider, and Black Toe-Bean Balloons are associated with Baby Mario (Koala), while the Ship's Wheel glider is available during the Ocean Glider pipe. Cat Toad and Baby Mario (Koala) also use the Jet Cruiser and Black Cat Cruiser karts.
Players with a Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass can earn enough Grand Stars to receive Yoshi and Birdo (Yellow) as drivers, Turbo Yoshi and Yellow Turbo Birdo as karts, and Surf Master as a glider as Tour gifts. Additionally, players can collect and upgrade a variety of drivers, karts, and gliders to find the best combination for victory.
City courses, special in-game event courses inspired by real-world locations, are available every two weeks. The Ocean Glider pipe is available from September 11 at 11 p.m. PT until September 16 at 11:00 p.m. PT, and more drivers, karts, and gliders may be found in the Ocean Glider pipe.
