Sydney’s Beloved Chinese Noodle House to Close After a Decade

A well-loved Sydney restaurant will shut its doors for good before the new year. Chinese Noodle House in Chinatown has stood on Thomas Street for a decade. The closure follows the landlord’s choice not to extend the lease any further.

The owners announced the news in recent days, thanking regulars for their loyalty over the years. Despite the upcoming shutdown, they hinted at plans to relaunch in a different spot. So far, no new location has been secured.

The restaurant’s final day will mark the end of a 10-year run in Chinatown. Customers still have a few months to visit before the doors close permanently. The owners have not ruled out a future return under a new address.
