Sydney Sweeney expresses compassion towards her fellow cast members
"Cray-cray in the acting game": Sydney Sweeney dishes on her intense method and feeling remorse for Julianne Moore on set.
In Hollywood's current climate, "Euphoria" sensation Sydney Sweeney (27) has earned a reputation for being tinsel town's secret weapon – a charming Yank who nails versatility. Yet, she often feels "cray-cray," she confessed in a news scoop. Her crew can't help but feel sorry for her.
Sweeney is currently on the promo tour for her latest flick "Echo Valley," which drops on Apple TV+ starting June 13, and recently stopped by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". There, she dished on her knack for toggling between emotional extremes on screen.

When quizzed by host Jimmy Fallon (50) if she retreats to her trailer to prep for a challenging scene and then reemerges in character, Sweeney admitted: "No, I just dive in and out. It's a bit cray-cray."
Fallon probed how swiftly she can switch her emotional mood: "One moment you're grinning and giggling, and the next..."he mused dubiously, before Sweeney interjected with "And then they shout 'action!' and then I bawl and shriek."
"I'm saying some real mean things"
In "Echo Valley," Sweeney's emotional spectrum is on full display, particularly in scenes with her on-screen ma, played by Julianne Moore (64). Given Moore's "cheerful and witty" demeanor, Sweeney confessed feeling apologetic during their spat scenes with the accommodating thespian. "Because I'm... I'm cruel. I'm really cruel," Sweeney commented, alluding to her film character.
In this new chiller, Oscar laureate Julianne Moore plays Kate, a mom yearning to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (Sweeney). One day, Claire barges into her mother's pad hysterical and bathed in someone else's blood. The story unravels the answer to the question: How deeply would a mother dig herself to salvage her kid?
Despite Sydney Sweeney's confessional about feeling remorseful towards Julianne Moore during intense acting scenes for their film "Echo Valley", Moore's ongoing reputation as a "cheerful and witty" actress makes it clear that she handles Sweeney's method acting with ease, immersing herself in the realm of movies-and-tv entertainment. Sweeney's specific choice of words, "I'm really cruel", illuminates the depth of emotional range she brings to her characters, highlighting the intriguing entertainment dynamic between the two talented actresses.
