Switzerland competes in all disciplines at 2024 World Figure Skating Championships

The World Figure Skating Championships will kick off this week with short programs starting on Wednesday. Switzerland has entered athletes in all four disciplines, aiming for strong performances across the board. The competition begins on Wednesday with the short programs. The first medals of the event will go to the pairs skaters on Thursday. Oxana Vouillamoz and Tom Bouvart will represent Switzerland in this discipline.

The women's event takes place on Friday, where Livia Kaiser will compete for the Swiss team. Lukas Britschgi will then contest the men's event on Saturday, the same day the ice dance titles are decided. Gina Zehnder and Beda-Leon Sieber will perform in the ice dance category.

The championships will wrap up on Sunday with an exhibition gala, marking the end of the competition. Switzerland has secured representation in every discipline at this year's World Championships. With events spread across Wednesday to Sunday, the skaters will vie for medals in pairs, women's, men's, and ice dance categories. The gala on Sunday will close the tournament.
