Swiss Student Bands Battle for Eurovision School Song Glory

Student bands across Switzerland are competing in SRF's Eurovision School Song Contest. The event will showcase young musical talent, with the public and a jury deciding the winners. Voting is now open for viewers to support their favourite acts.

The contest lets audiences vote directly under the performance videos. Each person can cast one vote per category, with verification handled via SMS to ensure fairness.

Four bands will advance to the final round. They will perform live on SRF's stage in Zurich, where a jury will select the favourite school band of 2026. Currently, no official registrations from schools or bands for this year's contest have been reported in public sources.

The winning band will be chosen by a mix of public votes and jury decisions. The live final in Zurich will mark the end of the competition. Organisers have not yet confirmed the number of participating schools or bands.
