Calling all action-seekers and nature lovers! The Dragon Boat Club Capybaras invites you to an unforgettable adventure on the serene waters of Kirchsee and Lanker See on Friday, May 23rd, and Saturday, 24th.
Our journey kicks off at 7 PM sharp from the clubhouse in Freudenholm. Buckle up for a paddling tour to the picturesque Kirchsee, as we mingle with fellow water sports enthusiasts during the 45th Preetzer Schusterfest. No need to worry about missing out — no club membership or prior knowledge is required!
With tons of fun activities for all ages, the atmosphere of this unique community event promises an evening filled with joy. Bring your own life jacket if you've got one, but there will also be some available for borrowing. Make sure to pack some snacks and drinks to keep the hunger pangs at bay. Expect to return to Freudenholm around 10 PM.
For those who wish to extend their stay, head over to the campsite on Lanker See (www.seecamping-glaeserkoppel.de). On Saturday, the Capybaras have more exciting activities lined up! Test your sea legs with various small boats, and at 4 PM, embark on a dragon boat tour across the serene Lanker See. As the day comes to an end, gather around for a joint barbecue.
Paddling isn't just a fun workout; it's an excellent cardio exercise that strengthens the back while offering a captivating peek into nature. It's suited for anyone aged 14 and up who appreciates nature and a dash of excitement. Who knows, you might even spot a sea eagle!
If you can't make it this weekend, no worries! Join us any time for a trial training session starting from age 14. We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in Freudenholm.
