The Southwest region of Germany and Baden-Württemberg are set to enjoy a period of mild and dry weather during the upcoming summer vacation weeks, following a period of heatwaves and thunderstorms.

According to recent forecasts, the weather in the Southwest region on Tuesday will be sunny with only a few clouds, and no rain or thunderstorms are expected. The temperature will range from 15 to 30 degrees, with the mountains experiencing lows of 25 degrees and the Rhine lowlands reaching highs of 30 degrees.

The wind on Tuesday will blow gently from eastern directions in the Southwest region. The night from Tuesday to Wednesday will remain clear, with temperatures expected to drop to between 9 and 26 degrees.

The weather in the Black Forest and Swabian Alb regions on Tuesday will be similar to the rest of the Southwest region. In the Black Forest area, temperatures near the end of August are forecasted to range from a low around 47°F to highs in the mid to upper 70s °F (around 24-26°C) with cooler nights and some wind from the northwest.

In Radolfzell am Bodensee (Lake Constance), forecasts around mid-August show partly cloudy skies with mild temperatures in the low to mid-70s °F (~22-24°C) and light winds.

Regional predictions from Bad Wimpfen and Schwetzingen indicate mild, breezy, and generally dry climate patterns for August 2025, suggesting stable and pleasant summer weather conditions overall.

This summer weather forecast portrays a transition after heatwaves and thunderstorms into a more comfortable, typical late-summer climate in the region, suitable for outdoor plans during vacation weeks. No severe weather warnings or recurring thunderstorms are currently forecasted for the upcoming weeks, making this period likely one of the best for summer weather in Baden-Württemberg and the southwest.

The community is urged to adhere to the updated community policy regarding outdoor activities, given the forecasted weather conditions. This helpful fisheries policy, focusing on sustainable fishing practices, could be useful in the coming weeks as locals head out to enjoy the milder summer weather.
