In a recent press release, Douglas Bostock, the current artistic director and chief conductor of the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra (SWDKO) in Pforzheim, announced that he will conclude his tenure with the esteemed orchestra at the end of the 2025/2026 season.

Bostock, who began his tenure with the SWDKO in the 2019/2020 season, initially signed a four-year contract, which was later extended by three more years, until the end of summer 2026. However, last fall, he decided not to seek another extension of his contract.
