Sverdlovsk Oblast defies autumn norms with record warmth in key cities

Sverdlovsk Oblast experienced an unusually warm second month of meteorological autumn, with most areas seeing temperatures above the seasonal norm. Yekaterinburg, the regional capital, was particularly warm, recording an average temperature of 4.5°C, 0.9°C higher than usual.

While nearly all parts of the oblast saw above-average temperatures, Tugulym was the exception. It remained cooler, with an average monthly temperature of 2.6°C, 0.5°C below the norm. Severouralsk, however, was notably warmer, with an average temperature of 2.5°C, 1.5°C above the norm.

Despite the warmth, specific details about meteorological stations or temperature data across the region remain unclear due to limited information.

In summary, Sverdlovsk Oblast experienced an unusually warm second month of meteorological autumn, with Yekaterinburg and Severouralsk seeing significant temperature increases. Tugulym, however, bucked this trend, remaining cooler than usual.
