Sverdlovsk boosts disability support with automatic benefits in 2025
The Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of Russia’s Social Security Fund has expanded support for residents with disabilities in 2025. Alongside disability pensions and monthly payments, the fund now provides automatic supplements, free parking permits, and sanatorium vouchers. Over 81,000 electronic certificates worth more than 1.67 billion rubles have already been issued this year alone.
Since the start of 2025, the fund has streamlined financial aid by assigning disability pensions and social payments without requiring applications. Processing takes just five working days, with notifications sent through Gosuslugi or by post. First-group disability recipients and those aged 80 and older now receive an extra 1,314 rubles monthly, added automatically to their pensions.
The changes mean faster access to financial aid and social services for thousands in Sverdlovsk. Automatic supplements, streamlined processing, and expanded benefits aim to improve support for residents with disabilities. The fund continues to monitor and adjust services based on demand throughout 2025.
