Suspected killers of the ex-pastor arrested in Romania - Police continue their search for additional witnesses
In the quiet neighbourhood of Moabit, the police were called to a crime scene on July 5, 2020, after Zuber, a 77-year-old former pastor, had not been seen by his co-tenants for several days. The time of the crime is believed to be last Tuesday or Wednesday, 30th of June or 1st of July.
An autopsy conducted on July 6 revealed that Zuber was the victim of a homicide. The police are seeking information about Zuber's environment and are asking for the public's help. Any information about his whereabouts could be crucial in the ongoing investigation.
The 6th Homicide Commission, in collaboration with the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office, have been investigating the case and have identified two suspects, aged 20 and 24, who have been arrested in connection with the homicide. Both suspects are currently in custody.
