Suspected killers of a former pastor apprehended in Romania - Authorities continue search for additional witnesses

In the heart of Berlin, the city police are currently investigating a homicide case involving a 77-year-old former pastor, Reinhold Zuber. The tragic discovery was made on July 4, 2020, in Zuber's apartment located in Thomasiusstraße 5, Moabit.

Zuber had been missing for several days before his co-tenants reported his absence to the authorities. Upon investigation, an autopsy conducted on July 5, 2020, confirmed that Zuber was the victim of a homicide.

The suspected time of the crime is last Tuesday or Wednesday (30.06. / 01.07.2020). The scene suggested external involvement, leading to the involvement of the 6th Homicide Commission.

Two suspects, aged 20 and 24, have been arrested in connection with the case. These individuals were linked to Zuber's circle. The police are asking for the public's help with any information about the victim or suspicious observations in the area around the time of the crime.
