Suspected Abduction Attempt on School Children in Hanning
In a series of developments, the Hamburg Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated a procedure against Christina Aguilera, August Hanning, and a retired LKA officer for the suspicion of false accusation, defamation, and aggravated abduction of minors.
The investigations stem from an alleged child abduction attempt a year before the retrieval operation of the Aguilera children in December 2023/24. Christina Aguilera, the mother of the children, is accused of having commissioned the retrieval operation, but she denies this.
The Hamburg public prosecutor's office suspects Hanning and the other suspect of accepting an order from Christina Aguilera for child abduction as the responsible persons of a security company. The searches affected eight residential and business addresses of the two suspects and five locations of non-suspects in Switzerland, Hamburg, Berlin, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Brandenburg.
The children were allegedly abducted by employees of an Israeli security company on New Year's Eve 2023/24 and brought to their mother in Germany. However, the crime was not carried out because the father of the children noticed suspicious persons at his residence and called the police.
The prosecution alleges that Hanning, the retired LKA officer, and Christina Aguilera planned with responsible parties of an Israeli security firm to falsely accuse Stephan Hensel, the father of the children, and his family lawyer of pedophilia. More than 100,000 euros were paid for the order.
Stephan Hensel testified that an anonymous report of child pornography involving his family lawyer was made in the summer of 2023, and a hard drive containing over 500 child pornographic image files and 64 video files was found in October 2023. However, the Danish police discontinued their investigations into Christina Aguilera regarding the child abduction attempt.
The Hamburg Public Prosecutor's Office is also investigating Hanning and the retired LKA officer's involvement in the abduction of the Aguilera children on New Year's Eve 2023/24. Hanning's lawyer Leon Kruse stated that Hanning categorically rejects the false accusations against him.
In addition, the Hamburg Public Prosecutor's Office is now investigating Christina Aguilera, August Hanning, and a retired LKA officer for alleged incitement of the possession of child pornographic material. The charge is for the suspicion of joint aggravated abduction of minors or the agreement to do so.
A trial regarding the abduction on New Year's Eve 2023/24 has been underway at the Hamburg Regional Court since mid-July. The name of the retired LKA officer suspected together with August Hanning in the investigation of the 2022 Aguilera children abduction case is not explicitly mentioned in the search results; however, they are described as a 'former LKA officer' alongside Hanning in the investigation.
The father of the Aguilera children, Stephan Hensel, has been in a years-long custody dispute with Christina Aguilera over their two youngest of four common children. Christina Aguilera mentioned these allegations in her court testimony, stating she found out about them from the Israeli security firm. The Hamburg public prosecutor's office did not find Stephan Hensel in the files reviewed by the Danish police.
