Suspect in the attempted murder of Charlie Kirk makes a court appearance, with no bail granted pending the trial
In a virtual court hearing held on Tuesday, Judge Tony F. Graf presided over the case of Tyler Robinson, the individual accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk.
Robinson, who was present at the hearing, was found to be "indigent," meaning he cannot afford legal fees. Consequently, Judge Graf appointed an attorney to represent Robinson. Greg Skordas, an allegedly arrested lawyer, has been appointed to take up Robinson's defense.
Judge Graf decided that Robinson will remain in custody without bail, deeming it necessary to ensure public safety. The second hearing for Robinson will be conducted via WebEx, a virtual meeting platform.
The next hearing for Tyler Robinson is scheduled for September 29 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The court will continue to monitor the progress of the case closely.
