Suspect believed to have fled capital city, Washington D.C., in connection with a homicide, potentially now residing in Baltimore.
In a recent development, the US Marshals Service is urgently seeking Solaiman Ahmed-Zakiyy Richardson, a 39-year-old fugitive wanted for second-degree murder in Washington DC. Richardson is believed to be hiding out in Baltimore, Maryland.
The wanted individual, standing at approximately 6'2" and weighing about 180 pounds, has a distinctive scar on his left eye from a previous stabbing. A warrant for his arrest was issued on July 28, 2025, following the investigation into the murder of Allen Sharpsire, 41, which took place on July 18, 2025, in the 100 block of Fort Drive, northeast DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department (Metro PD) is leading the investigation into the case. An autopsy performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in DC determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. The murder weapon has yet to be recovered.
Investigators have identified Richardson as the prime suspect in the case. They have released several images of Richardson and are seeking information about his whereabouts. The Metro PD has labelled Richardson as armed and dangerous.
Richardson is currently living a transient lifestyle, making him difficult to track down. He is believed to be living in specific areas of Baltimore, including the 100 block of East Pratt Street, the 600 block of North Howard Street, and the unit block of West North Avenue.
