In what seems unbelievable, a man has emerged as the lone survivor of the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. The disaster claimed the lives of 245 individuals, including the flight passengers and people on the ground.

Doctors at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital described Ramesh's condition as "not very critical" and anticipated his release in a few days. He was seated in row 11A, one of the emergency exit rows, just in front of the plane's left wing, according to a boarding pass photo shared by Indian news outlets. Aviation safety analyst David Soucie, a former US Federal Aviation Administration safety inspector, found Ramesh's survival particularly surprising, given his seat location. Ramesh attributed his miraculous escape to jumping out of a broken emergency exit near the door by his seat and running despite being disoriented and injured. He witnessed the tragic loss of fellow passengers in the crash.
Ramesh's survival was hailed as nothing short of a miracle by a British Member of Parliament, Shivani Raja. She expressed her condolences to the family, particularly for the loss of Ramesh's other brother.
The tragedy also claimed lives within the BJ Medical College and Hospital hostel, as reported by a senior doctor at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. The death toll is expected to further rise. The plane was en route to London's Gatwick Airport and carried Indian, British, Canadian, and Portuguese nationals.
Reports indicated that at least three medical students died in the crash, while another 30 were injured.
