Hanna's promising debut season with the team was marred by bad luck when a torn ligament sidelined him before the playoffs. The talented attacker joined the Kobras from the U20 team of the Duisburg Young Foxes at the start of the 2023/24 season.

Mensch, born on March 2, 2004, in Dinslaken, will be joining from the Duisburg Foxes, having gained experience from 87 Oberliga games. He first started playing ice hockey in the youth ranks of the Dinslakener Kobras before moving to the EV Duisburg and later the Düsseldorf EG.
