Surveillance of Fishing Activities in Mühlheim and Lämmerspiel under Tight Security Measures

In the charming town of Mühlheim am Main, preparations are underway for the upcoming Carnival season, with two exciting parades scheduled for Rosenmontag (March 3rd) and Lammerspiel (March 4th), 2023. Due to increased safety concerns following incidents in other cities, enhanced security measures have been implemented, and the parade route has been altered.

The grand parade of Carnival Season will take place on Rosenmontag, with the Lammerspieler Carnival Parade following the next day. The Lammerspieler Local Associations (LOV) and the Mühlheimer Carnival Association (MKV) are among the organisers of these events, working tirelessly to ensure a memorable experience for all.

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, the municipal public order office is responsible for implementing security measures. These include the deployment of an increased police and local authority presence, as well as the installation of barriers along access roads. On Rosenmontag and Faschingsdienstag, the order police will be exclusively on duty for the events.

The route of the carnival parade in Dietesheim and Mühlheim has been changed to Dietesheimer Straße (B 43) for safety reasons. This alteration necessitates around 40 closure points for the new parade route, compared to the usual 20 for the traditional route.

To accommodate these closures, the parade area will be closed from approximately 11 am to 6 pm on both days, with no entry or exit allowed except for emergency and fire service vehicles. An absolute no-parking rule applies from midnight for parking lots around the affected areas, and vehicles left in these areas on Rosenmontag will be towed away.

In light of these changes, the city of Mühlheim has committed to covering the additional costs of around 75,000 euros due to the new security measures for the carnival parades. Mayor Dr. Alexander Krey announced that he would propose this to the city council, emphasising that cancelling the parades was not an option.

For the most up-to-date information on security measures, parade routes, and any changes that might be implemented, we recommend checking local event websites or contacting the organizing committee directly. Let's come together to celebrate the vibrant Carnival traditions of Mühlheim am Main in safety and joy!

Despite the focus on Carnival in Mühlheim am Main, conversations about social-media platforms have become prevalent, with debates on their influence on raising awareness about war-and-conflicts, general-news, politics, and crime-and-justice. On the contrary, the Carnival parade organizers, including the Lammerspieler Local Associations (LOV) and the Mühlheimer Carnival Association (MKV), are also actively utilizing social media to share information and updates about the events, enhancing entertainment and engagement. Moreover, recent incidents in other cities have underscored the need for 'What' measures to maintain safety, and the municipal public order office is taking actions such as deploying extra security personnel and installing barriers along access roads.
