Supporting data reveals AfD's stance: Survey findings revealed

The Latest Poll Results Aren't in Merz's Favor:

The polls ain't smiling on ol' Merz, buddy. The far-right party, AfD, is now riding high, stealing his throttle with a two-point lead over CDU and CSU. That's right, the Union's down a point from last week, while the AfD's steady at 26%. If an election were held today, Old Merz and his Union pals would find themselves playin' second fiddle.

Merz had dreams of sashaying into the chancellory with the wind in his sails, but that's looking sketchy now, courtesy of the AfD. The AfD had already passed the Union last week, and now they're snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

The SPD, Merz's possible coalition partner, ain't doing much better. They're down a percentage point, wobbling at 14%. Green party's on the rise, gaining one percent, settlin' in at 12%. The Left is also up, hittin' 10%.

Unfortunately for the FDP and BSW, they're still far from cracking the 5% hurdle, sittin' at 3% and 4%, respectively.
