Supporters of Chelsea football club are engaged in confrontations during the playoff stage.

In Wroclaw, violent clashes erupted between supporters of English club Chelsea and Spanish team Real Betis prior to the UEFA Conference League final, according to The Telegraph. The altercation occurred in the city center, close to the Market Square, on May 27. Fans engaged in an escalated confrontation, throwing chairs and other objects at each other. The Polish police were required to intervene with water cannons and deploy numerous officers to restore order.

The much-anticipated final match between Chelsea and Betis will take place on May 28, with the kickoff scheduled for 10:00 PM Moscow time. The brawl has raised concerns about security at the event.

Previously, ongoing sanctions have resulted in Russian clubs being barred from participating in UEFA tournaments, including the Conference League. As a consequence, Russian teams are unable to compete in these European football leagues for the duration of these restrictions. However, the incidents in Wroclaw involve neither Chelsea nor Betis directly.

Meanwhile, Krasnodar has announced the first transfer of the off-season.

The Premier League club, Chelsea, is set to face Real Betis in a highly anticipated match, as part of the European football leagues, on May 28. Despite the violent clashes between their fans in Wroclaw, the security concerns at the upcoming event continue to be a subject of discussion.
