Algarve Hosts First ITSF500 Table Football Event from July 25-27
The Algarve region of Portugal is set to host its first International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF) 500 event, the 1st Summer Table Football Open, from July 25-27, 2025. The tournament, organized by the Portuguese Table Football and Table Football Federation (PTSF) and supported by the Algarve Table Football Association (AMFMA), the Municipality of Lagoa, and the Parish Council of Estômbar and Parchal, promises to be an exciting event for table football enthusiasts.
The confirmed schedule for the tournament is as follows:
- July 25, 3:00 PM: Open Mixed & Classic Open Doubles
- July 26, 9:30 AM: Open Singles, Women's Singles, Junior Singles, Senior Singles
- July 27, 9:30 AM: Open Doubles, Women's Doubles, Junior Doubles, Senior Doubles
The tournament has attracted the top 20 table football players worldwide, with competitors coming from Austria, Luxembourg, Spain, and other countries. While the specific names of the participants have not been released, the high caliber of the event is confirmed, as it offers maximum national points within the ITSF500, the second-highest points tier internationally.
The event will take place at the Sports Centre of the João Cónim EB 2,3 School in Estômbar, Lagoa, and will feature 14 Leonarth tables, known for their quality on the international circuit. Registration for the tournament is open to all players through AMFMA or PTSF.
