The historic market square in Peine is set to host a vibrant and diverse array of musical performances as part of the OpenStage season, which runs until early October.

On September 20, rock musician and author Helge Holm from Vechelde will take the stage, performing a selection of rock songs based on guitar and harmony from 10:30 to 12:30. Holm's performance will feature multi-voiced harmony singing and colorful guitar riffs, promising an engaging and energetic show.

The following day, on September 21, the trio "Saxy Jazz" will entertain the audience with groovy swing music. Comprising musicians from various bands in the region around Peine, the trio features Slava Attar, a singer from Hannover, Frank Linnemann on saxophone, and Peter Volmer on guitar.

Sophie Koeppen, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Hannover, will perform at the OpenStage on October 4 between 10:30 and 12:30. Known as "lady in blue," Koeppen specializes in pop and jazz and completed an early study in pop vocals at the Institute for the Early Promotion of Musically Gifted.

In addition to these performances, the band "Holzblume" will entertain the audience with a mix of Schlager and rock songs in German and English on October 4 from 12:30 to 14:30. The band met in the rehearsal room of the Peine day center "FIPS" in 2020 and have since performed together at Christmas parties and in the FIPS meeting center.

The OpenStage offers a platform for both well-known and lesser-known talents to present their artistic work, with performances ranging from groovy swing and West Coast jazz to German pop, medieval folk music, rock guitar sounds, and world music. The program for the OpenStage is presented by Peine Marketing GmbH.
