Michael Sugar will continue as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Evan Sils will also retain his position as Chief Operating Officer, ensuring consistency in key roles.
Ashley Zalta and Margaux Swerdloff have been named Co-Heads of Sugar23 Studio and Production. Their joint leadership will guide the studio's creative output moving forward. Meanwhile, Matt Rotondo has been promoted to President of Sugar23, assuming broader responsibilities within the company.
Shawna Wexler joins as the new Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing long-term planning and growth. Mike Mayer has been appointed Head of Creative Affairs, focusing on content development. David Hillman will continue leading the Alternative and Unscripted division, maintaining stability in that area.
As part of the reorganization, six managers are set to depart the company by mid-January. The changes aim to streamline operations and align the team with Sugar23’s new strategic direction.
