Global Beauty Queens Gather at Sudha Reddy's "Beauty with a Purpose" Gala

Hyderabad, Telangana played host to an unprecedented gathering of 108 international delegates from the Miss World 2025 pageant, as they converged at the opulent Mon Amour Palais. This grand private residence, owned by philanthropist and businesswoman Sudha Reddy, was the setting for an elegant soiree, themed around "Midnight Pearls", that celebrated both Indian culture and humanitarianism.

The "Beauty With A Purpose Gala" was a classy tribute to Telangana's rich cultural heritage, showcasing the region's warm hospitality and firm commitment to global humanitarian efforts. Mon Amour Palais, situated in the verdant Banjara Hills, was transformed into a resplendent exhibition of Indian artistry and hospitality, blending traditional opulence with contemporary sophistication.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a lavish grazing table that offered a modern interpretation of India's diverse culinary tapestry, setting the tone for the gastronomic journey to follow. The carefully curated menu comprised a harmonious fusion of progressive Indian dishes, nuanced international influences, delicate Asian infusions, and cherished European staples. These dishes symbolized an amalgamation of Eastern and Western culinary traditions and catered to a diverse range of tastes.

The Indian selections emphasized innovation and tradition, with dishes like the tender coconut carpaccio and the paneer mille-feuille offering contemporary twists on regional flavors. These were complemented by classic favorites such as lamb keema ghotala and the saffron koshihikari khichdi, providing a comforting yet refined counterpoint.

The Asian offerings showcased the versatility of Eastern cuisine, featuring delightful dishes like the charred miso chicken & leeks yakitori, the true xo udon, and the smoked yellow curry. The Italian selection, meanwhile, celebrated classic European gastronomy, emphasizing the quality of fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The Delicacies section, a grand finale, was an opulent fusion of Indian and international sweets designed to please the senses. Traditional Indian desserts like the kesari rasmalai and pista and fig halwa were creatively reimagined, while global standards such as chocolate and dulce de leche mousse and basque burnt cheesecake offered a diverse range of flavors and textures.

The event's ambiance, expertly designed by Khushi Singh of Percept Limited, exuded timeless elegance and a sense of opulence, infused with love, grace, and beauty. Towering gold candelabras adorned the tables, their flickering flames casting a warm glow over cascading floral arrangements and gleaming crystal candleholders. Inspired by Hyderabad, the 'City of Pearls', delicate strands of pearls were woven into the decor, from the staircases to the statues, lending a subtle tribute to the city's heritage. The floral arrangements were a study in classic refinement, consisting of calla lilies, song of India, Lisianthus, spray carnations, eustoma roses, oriental lilies, gypsophila, chrysanthemums, and green button poms as the main bloom, and supported by lush green fillers comprising fern and Dracaena leaves.

As twilight descended, guests were treated to a conceptual cultural showcase that paid homage to India's artistic soul. The high point of the evening was the Beauty With A Purpose presentations, where select delegates shared compelling narratives of their transformative social impact projects. The evening concluded with the announcement of the top five Beauty With A Purpose projects, lauded for their unwavering dedication to fostering sustainable and impactful change.

Illustrious guests in attendance included luminaries from India's royal families, such as Maharani Radhika Raje Gaekwad of Baroda, Kunwarani Ritu Ajatshatru Singh of Jammu & Kashmir, Princess Krishna Kumari of Jodhpur, and Princess Pooja Padmaraje Patwardhan of Sangli. Dr. Madhu Chopra and Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana, also graced the occasion. The presence of Mrs. Lakshmi Puri, former Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and a distinguished advocate for gender equality and human rights, further reinforced the evening's overarching message of global empowerment and diplomacy.
