Metal entrepreneur Jörg Döhnert (62) has gone missing, and his father's white Porsche Cayenne has vanished too.
In October, Jörg Döhnert was reported missing. His son, living in southern Germany, couldn't reach him since October 18. The white Porsche Cayenne, last seen in Döhnert's possession, was nowhere to be found.
During the investigation, the CID located Jörg Döhnert's cell phone on October 22 in Melle (Lower Saxony) and found the Porsche in a parking lot. But the SUV disappeared again the next day. The last known signal from Jörg Döhnert's cell phone was near Schüttorf on the A30. No trace since then.
The shady new tenant
Quite the surprise awaited the detectives at the company: a new tenant had moved in! Reinhard M., a 37-year-old from Enger, claimed to have rented the building for 60,000 euros a year. He seemed clueless as to Jörg Döhnert's whereabouts.
