"So, Charly must be cautious of Navarrete's formidable power and outbox him at every opportunity to secure a decision win. You know, could Charly possibly KO Navarrete? The much-anticipated title fight is set for Sunday, May 11, 2025, on a Top Rank-promoted show at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.
Suarez, age 36, turned professional in 2019 after an impressive amateur career that included facing opponents such as Vasyl Lomachenko, Robson Conceicao, and Joe Cordina. His rapid ascent through the ranks earned him a world title shot.
A significant victory for Suarez came when he stopped previously undefeated Paul Fleming in the 12th round in Australia. Following this triumph, Suarez moved to the United States and converted three consecutive wins against Yohan Vasquez, Luis Coria, and Jorge Castañeda.
