Stuttgart's VfB faces FC St. Pauli with a shocking lineup change - Karazor not included in the initial squad
VfB Stuttgart Lineup Changes Ahead of FC St. Louis Match
VfB Stuttgart are set to make some changes in their starting lineup for their Bundesliga clash against FC St. Louis, with newcomer Chema Andrés making his Bundesliga debut. The game, scheduled for an 8:30 PM kick-off at home, sees Stuttgart aiming to turn around their less-than-ideal start to the season, as FC St. Louis have enjoyed a better beginning.
In central defence, Chema Andrés replaces Atakan Karazor, with Angelo Stiller also starting instead of the captain. Jeff Chabot and Finn Jeltsch form the central defensive partnership, with Maximilian Mittelstädt on the left side and Lorenz Assignon starting on the right instead of Josha Vagnoman. Jamie Leweling is the left counterpart for Stuttgart.
In midfield, Bilal El Khannouss starts, while Tiago Tomas comes in on the right side. Ermedin Demirovic starts up front, with no change in the system from coach Sebastian Hoeneß, who is reportedly considering a shift.
Despite the changes, Karazor remains on the bench, alongside Badredine Boaunani, who initially starts on the bench. Alexander Nübel starts in goal for VfB Stuttgart, as they look to secure their first win of the season against a formidable FC St. Louis side.
