Stuttgart's Cannstatter Volksfest is set to return this year, with around four million visitors expected from September 26 to October 12. The festival, held by the Neckar river, will open with Mayor Frank Nopper tapping the first barrel.

The festival grounds will be open from 12 pm to 11 pm on weekdays, extending to midnight on Fridays. On weekends, visitors can enjoy the festivities from 11 am to midnight on Saturdays and 11 pm on Sundays. The 178th Cannstatter Volksfest promises a variety of entertainment, with large beer tents like the Klauss and Klauss Festzelt offering a range of beverages and likely lively music, although specific artist details are not yet available.

The opening ceremony, featuring the traditional tapping of the first keg, will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 4 pm in the Klauss and Klauss Festzelt. While a live broadcast is not confirmed, visitors can expect a lively atmosphere to kick off the festival.

The Cannstatter Volksfest is set to attract a massive crowd this year, with a variety of entertainment options and a historic opening ceremony. Visitors can look forward to a fun-filled event by the Neckar river, with detailed information on beer tent performances to be announced soon.
